Sweet No Death is a short horror-themed RPG game. This game is dialogue heavy, and plays out more like a visual novel with light RPG elements.
The game takes about 30 minutes to complete. There are two endings: One wrong ending and one real ending.

If it does work on your Mac--When opening the game, do NOT click on the "Game" application. Instead, follow these steps:
- Go into the folder "Sweet No Death".
- Go into the folder "Game.app"
- Go into the folder "Contents"
- Go into the folder "MacOS"
- Open the file labeled "nwjs"
Opening the game this way will allow you to safely use the menu and cancel commands. Opening the game from the application labeled "Game" will make it so that you cannot exit out of a menu that's been opened.
REMINDER: THIS GAME MAY NOT WORK ON ALL MACS

tbh i saw the bad ending as a good ending, Lambchop sucks (personality wise, good character design tho. i mean, cmon, his entire relationship with Stella is just a textbook toxic relationship, hes not exactly the one i wanna see happy by the end)
also this isn't hate btw, sry if it sounds like it. i loved the mixture of cute n dark themes, and as usual arcade kitten made a wonderful plot and interesting characters to boot <3
This is why the game is not split up into "bad end" and "good end"! They are precisely labeled "Wrong End" and "True End" for this reason. Good and bad is subjective (at least in this case). Here, there is just the way things are meant to go and the way they aren't. Thank you for playing and your kind words! <3

This game has the most interesting type of relationship between the protag and antag I've ever seen in such kind of games. True ending is a gem!
I love how Lambchop's venus flytrap serves as a bit of foreshadowing, really clever

guys. guys. guys. i looked at reginald and then at lambchop and made a fire oc. sweet no death made me have multiple seizures i L L L LOVE it. the way that everything in this game was portrayed. i also watched kubzscouts play this one too and i was going crazy crazy insane mmmmmad im so happy that games like these are getting recognized by big youtubers

It might just be incapable of running on your Mac, then. :( Mac computers don't often agree with RPGMaker games

this was such a cool mix between cute and horror- loved it ! the game was pretty fun too, lambchop was so entertaining, and the music and visuals, so pleasing.

This game is so interesting, the dialog between Lambchop and Stella at the end is SO cool! It made me question a lot of things, cuz I saw Lamb as just a villain and a murderer, but the way he sees Stella being controlling and just as bad as him made so much sense (or I'm just crazy) anywaaay, such a good and cute game.
I have seen other people play it and was interested in this game. So of course I wanted to download it. I downloaded it but I dont know how to start the game. Some advice?

Ruuuby the cutest lil bean ever >w< I was soo confused by her name at first, but her explaining it was the most precious thing, I couldn't help but keep saying it out loud the rest of the game <3
Stella's solution in the true end was such a clever idea too, I'm both happy and sad we didn't get to see the rest of the town's reactions. I can't stop thinking about it all, there's just too much amazing stuff packed into this little gem =w=
hey! when i try to play the game (on windows( it doesn't work... im pretty sure im downloading the right copy, its just that it tells me that a file is missing when i click ''game.exe''. anyways this game seems cool!!

Very engaging story. I wish the game was longer. Characters are really cute and I like how dark the story gets.

Ruuuby and Acorn are super cute though, Acorn is underappreciated.
Dang, that "They lived.. happily ever after" did that mean they got married? oh god thats not so good but still pretty creepy game! (btw can u add like more stuff and like make another chapter? i meant like either POV: Lambchop or like when they live together like in the future, okay? Tysmm! and great game btw!
very fun game and an different and interessing plot overall,i agree with spurpleone the game left you with just the right amount of questions pretty cool game
really cute game that wasn't actually cute at all!!! honestly the art was all really well done and the music choice was excellent as well. I like how the game leaves you with questions like: "so did buck just spawn in the toilet? how many times has Stella cleaned up situations like this? Is perfect eternal happiness not synonymous with purgatory?". The perfect amount of questions too, not enough to NEED a sequel or to be incomprehensibly confusing. I also really appreciate the fact that there's a non-binary character. Thank you so much for making this!

What a nice game! God, I found myself saying "my goodness" multiple times, especially during our second to final talk with Lambchop. Fantastic job.
I've gotten one ending, I'm defiantly gonna try and get the other one.to get the true ending you need to keep talking to lambchop until like he repeats the same sentence over and over
