10/10 The story is great and all the details that are there, but you don't know how to piece them together yet make it even better when it comes to replaying. I love this creators games, but this one so far is my favorite out of the other 2 I have tried!
Hello arcadekitten, i don't know If you're gonna read this, but... Will there be a part 2 of this game? I personally think the game had a huge build up for something that practically didn't had a closure. The true end left me with more questions than answers, and i wanna know If there is any possibility of a sequel becoming true. (I apologize in advance If i mispelled any words, english is not my native language).
I really liked it until the part where she finds the corpse. After that I have a lot of issues with it:
I know the narrative needs us to hide in the shower, but from the player's perspective it feels completely arbitrary. There's no hint to it, the only way the player could figure it out is through coincidentally picking it or pure trial and error.
The ending isn't decided by any of the dialogue choices you make that reflect Allie's character, but by a completely arbitrary choice that no reasonable person would have assumed would influence the story. Which, again, means the only way to find it is either coincidence or pure trial and error.
The two endings were so similar that it feels like there was no real reason to even have the second one.
There was no narrative weight behind Enide having killed & eaten Tabby. Even ignoring the fact that her being a serial killer & cannibal was already a huge enough plot twist that it easily overshadows this one, there was no reason for the player to have assumed she knew her at all, and the absence of letters was already explained by the fact that they moved multiple times & there was no way for her to know if they got them.
The story ended really abruptly right after it felt like it was just about to begin. I don't know if this was originally supposed to be a larger game, but it very much feels like it.

Two hours later it seemed to me that I felt better, I was lying in my room with the lights off and eating crackers (okay, maybe it didn’t feel better) and then I started thinking... I remembered the plot again... Fuck sunrise in 2.5 hours what am I doing? :(

не смотря на то, что очевидна личность убицы-каннибала с самого начала, играть было интересно; понравился стиль рисовки аркейдкиттен и дизайн персонажей. они все очень милые! в целом мне очень нравится тенденция авторши делать максимально ня каваи сеттинги с очаровательными персонажами с чертами зверей, при этом в жанре хоррор. хотя как таковых ужасов тут и нет - пусть игра и в жанре "хоррор", она абсолютно не страшная, хотя нейтральная (вроде) концовка, где главная героиня узнает, что происходит, при этом никому не может сказать, была действительно хороша!
в общем, игрушка неплохая - рекомендую на минут 40 под чаек :D посылаю лучи любви аркейдкиттен!
Если человеку не нравится что персонажа игры просто так, без причины, сделали геем или трансом - это еще не делает человека гомофобом или трансфобом. Скорее это делает человека любителем последовательности в сценарии.
Хотя поборникам лгбт присуще называть всех несогласных гомофобами, так что проехади..
1. Это новые персонажи, можно понять негодование когда существующего персонажа изменили, но тут это правило не работает.
2. Почему должны быть причины и предпосылки для персонажа гея, но не должно быть натурала? Мало того что это не впишется в повествование игры, так ещё и полный бред а не оправдание. Про её ориентацию не говорили вовсе, но вопросов к персонажу-натуралу не было бы.
Глянул его комментарий, на 100% уверен что человек обижен на ЛГБТ пропаганду и всё, потому вместо основной идеи, посыла воспринимает только мнимую проблему, Хотя наличие транса по правде ощущается лишним
Да, причины нужны для для персонажей-геев, а не для натуралов. Потому что, как бы представители ЛГБТ не пытались убедить всех в обратном, гетеросексуализм все еще является стандартным и привычным поведением в обществе, а гомосексуализм это яркая и выделяющаяся черта характера для персонажа, требующая хоть какого нибудь обоснования.
К тому же в этой игре вообще выделение сексуальности выглядит странно. Эта игра не про проблемы геев и трансов, это триллер и его сюжет вообще этих тем не касается, так что даже озвучивать сексуальность персонажей для сюжета в принципе не нужно.
И я не против того что сестру гг сделали лесбиянкой, это как раз важно для сюжета, иначе было бы сложно объяснить ее связь с антагонисткой. Но вот транса в игру добавили ваще просто так, явно чтобы подлизаться к ЛГБТ
Played this game along with Fia's Night Out, and oh how fun they both were! I always seem to enjoy your games, and these two were no exceptions. I think My Neighbor Enide had a really engaging story along with simple and fun gameplay which made the whole experience pretty enjoyable! I love seeing old characters revisited, and new characters from your world and I can't wait to see more in the future! Both super fun games. Keep up the great work!
Классная игра, жаль, что очень короткая. Но как по мне сделать Табби лесбиянкой было ужасным решением, которое испортило мое представление о ней и немного об игре в целом. Такое ощущение, что игра была сделана исключительно ради лгбт подготовки, даже если это будет плохо вписываться в сюжет. Концовка не оставила мне приятных ощущений, я получил не концовку а какое то радужное дерьмо, не иначе. Получил от игры не то что ожидал. В любом случае, мне все равно понравилось.
Ты бы еще спросил был ли у меня с ними плохой опыт. Комментарий не о том что в игре есть небинарные, а про то что концовка меня разочаровала потому что кроме лгбт я там ничего больше не увидел, будто автор наплевал на концовку игры и впихнул в неё трансов и лесбиянок.
Почему вместо хорошей и интригующей развязки в концовке я получил геев и трансов? Мне вообще без разницы на то какие у них гендеры, я играю в триллер. Я хочу получить не какой то роман а достаточно жёсткий и напряжённый сюжет.

I hate Enide for killing Tabby I had my suspicions that she was killing the missing guys but when I found out about Tabby in the true ending I couldn’t help but cry. She didn’t deserve that none of them did. Tabby thought she found someone to trust and love not someone who eats and kills and would do that to her.

The trans representaion was really natural despite what people are talking about, how clawdi tried to be masculine and tried to grow the mustache to kind of "fix" things was really emotional to say the least.
And omg i am DEAD with the true ending. Got me all sad n shit.
But yeah fuck them fake ass critiques. At least critique something that actually needs it.

Have found the true ending to be so upsetting to me that it's actually been on my mind for a few days now haha. Very well done and the art is so pretty. Hope Clawdi and Allie have happy lives. :3
Me and my friend were watching a playthrough and we were SO shocked at the end, poor Tabby, that's why they don't get letters anymore, if they moved there earlier maybe they could have met Tabby again before she died, if she even died
THE TRUE ENDING HAD MY JAW DROP LIKE ACTUALLY. I genuinely felt sick to my stomach to the point i just stared at my screen blankly, like that small piece of information made everything makes sense even though i did think that Tabby would die at one point, though i find one thing odd. its just that everything else was wiped out of Enide’s old house, and somehow that chest in the basement was specifically still there as if it was planned. In my mind, i think Enide knew Allie would keep the promise out of paranoia or fear and so she left that chest with Tabby’s gifts and note there as like some sick gift for keeping the promise, and also because it’s either she knew all along that Allie was related to Tabby. Think of it as like planning something before it even happens. but overall, the story and plot twist gave me a weird feeling, especially when Enide ate Tabby. It gave me goosebumps, though I really love the game and the concept itself!
and i absolutely LOVE that Clawdi and Allie ended up dating, they're so cute i swear. but i think its kinda messed up how she ended up dating the girl whose dad she knew got killed and she stayed quiet about it the whole time
It's really cool!! liked the artstyle liked the normal ending liked that crab boy became crab girl liked the characters design liked main character's dad o_O... even though i don't like creepy things i like the game!

WOW THAT PLOTTWIST! It honestly left me in shambles. The story is so interesting from beginning to end, I truly enjoyed this game a lot.
