okay spoilers ahead,

THE TRUE ENDING HAD MY JAW DROP LIKE ACTUALLY.  I genuinely felt sick to my stomach to the point i just stared at my screen blankly, like that small piece of information made everything makes sense even though i did think that Tabby would die at one point, though i find one thing odd. its just that everything else was wiped out of Enide’s old house, and somehow that chest in the basement was specifically still there as if it was planned. In my mind, i think Enide knew Allie would keep the promise out of paranoia or fear and so she left that chest with Tabby’s gifts and note there as like some sick gift for keeping the promise, and also because it’s either she knew all along that Allie was related to Tabby. Think of it as like planning something before it even happens. but overall, the story and plot twist gave me a weird feeling, especially when Enide ate Tabby. It gave me goosebumps, though I really love the game and the concept itself!

and i absolutely LOVE that Clawdi and Allie ended up dating, they're so cute i swear. but i think its kinda messed up how she ended up dating the girl whose dad she knew got killed and she stayed quiet about it the whole time

WOW THAT PLOTTWIST! It honestly left me in shambles. The story is so interesting from beginning to end, I truly enjoyed this game a lot.

Absolutely amazing. I loved the story, the characters, the growth they showed and how the played off each other well. The horror was expected but that twist got me good. Fantastic work!

(ps; For anyone reading who hasnt gotten it yet, I highly encourage you to play the True Ending. Well worth the effort for the extra story.)

Another one of your gems that i have stumbled upon, It's Not Me It's My Basement, Cementery Mary, and now My Neighbor Enide, are some of my favourite games ever, and its always a delight when i remember you made each of them.

Lovely game, was shocked by the true ending 😭 but overall I loved the art style and the way the story was told. I can't wait for more! 

I just finished playing this game and got the true end first somehow, is it supposed to be hidden? this is a great game with an interesting story, good work! I am gonna try and find normal end now.

I just hope that wherever Enide is right now… I hope she gets her just deserts.

So like, since the warning and the cake, i already knew ''yeah shes a cannibal.''
Then i thought ''shes gonna make a cake out of that crab guy as revenge for her''

then i thought she was MC's sister (forgot their names)

THEN i thought she was MC's mother.

so uhm, i really enjoyed this game

and i dont really thinkk you do sequels or prequels, but it would be sick to play a prequel in the vision of the sister

ALSO I REALLY LOVE THAT THE CRAB GIRL IS TRANS!!! <3

Saw ManlyBadassHero play this, wanted to play it for my own channel, it looked interesting

so I bought this and tried playing it on my Mac OS X M1 14.4 (Sonoma) and had trouble running the game.app and the nwsj. I DID get it working on my Mac by doing the following:

# Open a Terminal Session
cd /Applications/My\ Neighbor\ Enide/Game.app/Contents/Resources/app.nw/
python3 -m http.server 5000 
# Now point your web browser at http://localhost:5000

This will let you run the game via the web browser. Thankfully, RPG Maker MZ exports in a format that is heavily Javascript and HTML based. 

Unfortunately, I don't have a way to play the game, but I did watch ManyBadassHero's video on this game.  It seemed like a very cool game!

The true ending though, man... what a shocker.  I was not expecting that,  and it honestly makes me sad that Allie won't be able to see Tabby again.  Even when the scares fall short for me,  they never fail to make me feel sad for the characters.  I absolutely love cute animal characters,  and the way you do your horror is the perfect contrast.  

Whenever I get myself an actual computer to play your games on,  you can bet I'll be playing them.  Keep up the good work!
