It's Not Me, It's My Basement is a short horror game following a nonbinary child and their daily life. It takes about 30 minutes-1 hour to complete. There is only one ending.
Should appear in your files as "INMIMB".

MAC USERS: This game may not work on all Macs. When opening the game, do NOT click on the "Game" application. Instead, follow these steps:
- Go into the folder "INMIMB".
- Go into the folder "Game.app"
- Go into the folder "Contents"
- Go into the folder "MacOS"
- Open the file labeled "nwjs"
Opening the game this way will allow you to safely use the menu and cancel commands. Opening the game from the application labeled "Game" will make it so that you cannot exit out of a menu that's been opened.

Advertising myself, but I wanted to show my let's play video of this game
I really enjoyed this! It was short and perfect for what I needed at that moment (a short game that wouldn't take too long, considering I didn't have a lot of time).I thoroughly enjoyed that this game gave me a bit of nostalgia; it put me in mind of Katy Towell's animation, "The Mockingbird Song", though I don't think the monsters in the basement were her parents like in "TMS"?
I'm giving it four out of five stars, because, even though I enjoyed it, I wish there was another ending besides the one and only AND I wished it was explained (or maybe shown) more in depth how the monsters came to be (I know Embry said something about how they appeared, but maybe a more in depth flashback?) and giving a twist of how they appeared would maybe make this game more enticing.

Thank you for the Turkish translation, I really liked the game I just think you could remake it to be longer with a deeper story and with a few more endings maybe. But as a short game, it's AMAZING!!

I LOVED the game, in fact I liked it so much that it was the reason I checked your other games, it was one of your first projects (I think), yet you really managed to create a suffocation and creepy ambience that I was exactly looking for, I really don't know how you did that but Kudos ! And you also made the characters so likable, and I was looking for the end the of the story, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be one, or at least too vague to provide closure, and it really sucks because I WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENED, because I really care about the story! I wish there was an update to get an ending, or even multiple ending
