It's Not Me, It's My Basement offers a truly fun and beautiful horror atmosphere. It presents a pixelated psychological horror atmosphere that differs from classic indie horror games. The story flow and dialogues were really enjoyable and smooth. I had a lot of fun playing the game. Also, to introduce the game to players in my country and help them easily understand the story, I uploaded a video with Turkish subtitles and dubbing to my YouTube channel. If you want to watch the video, I've added the link to my YouTube video below. I wish everyone good gaming and enjoyable viewing.
I'm writing the comment myself, how could it be a bot comment? Watching less Sherlock Holmes would be better for your childish mental development. Take this as advice from an older brother, son.
Advertising myself, but I wanted to show my let's play video of this game
I really enjoyed this! It was short and perfect for what I needed at that moment (a short game that wouldn't take too long, considering I didn't have a lot of time).
I thoroughly enjoyed that this game gave me a bit of nostalgia; it put me in mind of Katy Towell's animation, "The Mockingbird Song", though I don't think the monsters in the basement were her parents like in "TMS"?
I'm giving it four out of five stars, because, even though I enjoyed it, I wish there was another ending besides the one and only AND I wished it was explained (or maybe shown) more in depth how the monsters came to be (I know Embry said something about how they appeared, but maybe a more in depth flashback?) and giving a twist of how they appeared would maybe make this game more enticing.
