I LOVED the game, in fact I liked it so much that it was the reason I checked your other games, it was one of your first projects (I think), yet you really managed to create a suffocation and creepy ambience that I was exactly looking for, I really don't know how you did that but Kudos ! And you also made the characters so likable, and I was looking for the end the of the story, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be one, or at least too vague to provide closure, and it really sucks because I WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENED, because I really care about the story! I wish there was an update to get an ending, or even multiple ending

INCRÍVEL, história curta mas muito imersiva com o dia a dia da protagonista, o final 'sem explicações' que abre interpretações do jogador, e ainda tem tradução pt br bonitinha... PERFEITO

不是我,是我的地下室

Wow. Honestly wow. For context, You know that week long depression you get after finishing something you so deeply loved? Well I have only finished two of your games, one being Crowscare, and the other being It's Not Me, It's My Basement (this one), and so far, both of which have given me that feeling. Keep up the good work Arcadekitten :D

NOOOOO I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS. My interpretation is that something she did accidentally led to her parent's death. She repressed this, which is why she always seems so calm, despite the monster and everything else. It's the only way she can process this as a child. Since then, she's just been feeding this "monster" hoping for it to go away, rewarding herself for making it through the day without actually moving forward. Eventually, this monster threatens to take off its mask. She believes herself to be the monster. She isn't one, but she can't understand this. Honestly, great job on the story telling. Embry's design communicated so much. She was very non-chalant, just sort of existing. The only emotions were pangs of anxiety and guilt. So great job on the character design! Thank you for sharing your talent!

Conheci esse jogo pelo Theux, e realmente é bom, bem sinistro e "triste" o jogo.

SUPER RECOMENDO!, se você está procurando terror suspense e mistérios, tá aí uma obra boa para te entreter 😎👍.

scary, sad and good. I enjoyed this!

Es muy buen juego, me gusta mucho el estilo de dibujo y su historia aunque sea triste. Si quieres un juego que no dure mucho este es ideal ヾ(•ω•`)o

It is a very good game, i really like the drawing style and its story, even thought it is sad. If you want a game that doesn't last long, this is ideal.

I find the game excellent, the story, although very sad, seemed fascinating to me, the artistic section is phenomenal, in itself this is a nice game!

Amazing game! It was nice to see a nonbinary character too! 10/10!

SPOILER!!!                                                                                                                                                                                                               I REALLY LIKED THE DOCTOR, i was really shocked when we pushed him in. I do wonder what would've happened if we let him 'help' us though. Also, the "THANKS FOR PLAYING" Art was ADORABLEEE!!, I love their height difference.

Good game.

I'd recommend using proton over the Linux builds for this game cause the Linux application formats are terrible right now (and this game doesn't work because of it, but its hardly the dev's fault). Maybe in the future Linux will have a better format but for now just use proton. (Add the windows executable: Game.exe as a non-steam game, then force compatibility tools.)

If you want to make the game playable for Linux users natively, I recommend the AppImage format, it works basically the same as the macOS .app format for your purposes.
