I really enjoyed this short VN, it was a nice little story that served to demonstrate Twyla's expertise and skill in a fun way. Ovidius was adorable, and of course good at what he did. I'm a bit curious after playing the game, though, is Ovidius' name connected to the poet Ovid?
In any case, the game was a (mostly) upbeat, fun window into the regular lives of our favorite Congressionals and Parliamentarians prior to the events of Cemetery Mary. The connection between Ovidius and his mother, is just, so cute. I also would like to see Ovidius plan a heist, thank you and good night.
Haha, yes! I had named Ovidius after Ovid, though it's been so long that I had him I can't remember the reason why...Perhaps my memory will jog again in time. :-)

I remember thinking up the idea very spontaneously and wanting to do it, even if I knew it probably wouldn't have many players--I felt it would be a nice treat to those who wanted to see some of the characters again! So I'm always glad to see people enjoy it, thank you so much! <3
This was a lovely little story, it's really nice getting to know Ovidius a little more after finishing Cemetery Mary. It was also had some really funny moments, planning the escape was a particular highlight, and just generally had me smiling all the way through. I may be playing it out of season but I definitely felt the holiday spirit (might have to replay it in December).
Yep, it's already past Christmas and I just check the game out. I kind of don't have the luxury of time around this month.
So yes, it's a pretty nice soft and warm prequel with a need to finish Cemetery Mary in order to fully grasp of what is happening. The art are lovely and the choice of music is excellent. It is also refreshing to see old characters to be in different style of clothing and doing something nice in a while.
